1969 Dodge Dart GTS
Let's just get to the point! I'm not a dealer or classic car restoration guy. My 1st car in 1979, was a 1968 GTS convertible, sold it for my last year's college tuition. Then by the grace of God, I found this hardtop in 2010, just as my 2 children were entering highschool. It needed everything, but what a way to pass my gearhead gift to my children.
And an incredible bonus A CO car that had never been modified! So beyond checking "numbers matching", I get to state "fender tag matching"....right down to the stock hubcaps.
So, why sell and how did I choose the asking price It took us until 2016 to restore and now it just sits. She deserves to be driven by someone who loves GTS's for what they were....a stock "sleeper" that always surprised in a street race. Now Price simply Hagerty's valuation between Grade 2-3...price closer to 3...value closer to 2. If you look around.....other sellers are asking $50k plus for modified GTSs.....just search Hemmings.
